Yes — the vinyl handles rain and heat, indoors or out. It won’t dissolve or bubble the way a paper sticker does.

3 in suits a laptop lid or a water bottle. 5 in is better for a toolbox, a hard case or a pack panel.
Will it damage the surface underneath?
It’s a strong adhesive built to stay put. On paint or delicate finishes, test a corner first.
Can I put it in the dishwasher?
Don’t. It’s weatherproof, not dishwasher-proof.
